Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is set to counter a lingered death rumour of him through a live video broadcast Wednesday evening.
Kanu said to hold a Livestream programme to connected on various virtual platforms, including Facebook, Biafra Television as well as Radio channel.
He disclosed Tuesday on his social platforms both Facebook and Twitter, nothing that the evening programme will start by 7 PM Biafra Time, urged the general public to join the broadcast.
A Nigerian based Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo had rumoured that the secessionist died in an undisclosed hospital after contacting Coronavirus disease.
Olunloyo, after raising the panic on social media in what appeared as a false alarm, turned around to withdraw her statement, adding that Nnamdi Kani is alive.
Members of the secessionist group and supporters have accosted the journalist on different social platforms accused her of doing the bid of the Federal government shut Biafra determination.
Though, since the speculated irritating rumour, Kanu has remained silent.
Kanu, in his statement said, unlike President Mohammadu Buhari’s sixteen (16) minutes speech address held on Monday from “Basement of Hotel in Cuba” he will be live on Wednesday to present “no edited speech and or remastered video by Chinese” which he described as “Gospel of Heaven preached without compromise
He further noted that the message will be “raw truth proclaimed that darkness may flee
Kanu had accused President Buhari’s media handlers of deceit on the content of information released to Nigerians, nothing that both pictures and videos are photoshopped and doctored to deceive viewers.
He claimed that ‘Jubril Al Sudanese’, the impostor of Buhari journeyed to Cuba where late Abba Kyari was receiving treatment.
He maintained that subsequent national addresses are pre-recorded from the country and forwarded to NTA and other media houses.
According to Kanu, President Buhari died in a London Hospital in 2017. Demands to hold a media chat, remove the cap, run a DNA test, grant live video coverage and other has been posed to the President and his media personnel.
